In view of the spring temperatures in the first days of the new year 2014, it is hard to imagine how wintry it looked a year ago. Early in 2013 breeder Jana Kulikova from the cattery Magia Vostoka together with her friend Julia payed a visit to our breeders in Germany – in ice and snow!

Stages of their tour were Berlin, Gera, Erfurt, Leipzig and Potsdam. Even a small detour to the famous “Christmas Country” Erzgebirge was undertaken. Not just sightseeing – even shopping was on their agenda.

First and foremost – of cause – their visit was dedicated to the velvet paws:
In Berlin, they visited Shalimar of Jana´s cattery “Magia Vostoka” and her son Iorek who live with Annett.
In Gera, they enjoyed to see Shalimar’s daughter Isabeau who feels great with Carola and the other cats.
And in addition to the “Magic Thai Goblin´s”, they were able to admire beautiful cats from other catteries as well!

In long and detailed talks many aspects of the breeding work were discussed. The friendly exchange of experiences was beneficial for all breeders.
With many new impressions and suggestions Jana and Julia took the journey home.
