In the middle of August the time had come:
We (Carola Hopfe and Monika Dittberner) started from Gera to visit Anna Korczak and her family in Zywiec, 600 km away from Gera. Zywiec (with an own beer-brewery) is in a very idyllic place between mountains and lakes, about 2-3 hours away from Zakopane, the former venue of the Olympic Games and a very good place for winter sports holidays. We arrived very late at night and were thankful to fall into bed and a sleep. The next morning – after a substantial breakfeast – we made a trip to the neighboured Zar. Thanks to a funicular railway we easily succeeded in climbing the summit. Despite of the foggy weather we had a wonderful view!
Some paragliders were making last preparations for their silent and majestic flight down the valley. Our next destination was the nearby Bielsko-Biala. In Anna´s house there was plenty of time to admire her beautiful cats. She started breeding Thai cats in seal and seal tabbypoint in 2006 . At international cat shows her cats have already been among the winners. The velvet paws are free to run in the whole house. Soon they will get their own outside area where they can romp about to their heart´s content.

Anna and her husband are very honest and sincere fellow-breeders, bringing-up their kittens full of love and setting great store by the selection of their later “places of action”.
In the whole house you can feel the family´s great love of animals. Kola, the good-natured Saint Bernhard dog as well as the two turtles, inhabitants of an own bathroom, are members of the family. Some aquariums round-off the picture.

Anna likes to take the brush in her leisure time.too. The result are wonderful cat pictures.
Early on saturday evening we had to say “goodbye”. We had very nice, relaxed days full of good meals, talks (not only about cats) and laughter. For sure, this was not our last visit to Anna, Janusz, Kasia and Piotr.
